Our tech platform connects tutors and mentors to high school students aiming to achieve admission and scholarships to top universities in the US, Canada, UK, and beyond.

This is a full-time position, based in Shanghai, China. Normal working time is Monday to Friday, 10 am - 7 pm.

This role is responsible for ensuring effective local offline marketing through content creation and localization, local partnership outreach, and digital targeting:

  • Plan and execute marketing events and campaigns to generate high-quality leads to continually feed in a healthy sales pipeline
  • Localizing global campaigns and other marketing materials into English and Chinese to suit the China audience
  • Working closely with local sales & marketing colleagues, and HQ marketing team to create impactful and effective offline campaigns (including creating local messaging and content assets that successfully engage and convert targeted prospects)
  • Monitoring leads and conversion from marketing across offline channels with weekly/monthly progress reporting, customer behavior, and user experience
  • Coordination of specific outreach tactics including expos, seminars, webinars, school talks, and related event support
  • Handle student and parent support conversations, over the phone and in-person
  • Assist with scheduling consultations for high-quality leads with the local sales team

What skills and experience are required?

  • Strong storytelling skill and ability to connect emotionally with target prospects
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin, speaking these languages idiomatically. Strong command of language is necessary to write a good copy in English and Chinese.
  • Knowledge of China local marketing channels and partnership organisations for pursuing higher education overseas
  • An understanding of the US/UK undergraduate application process
  • Comfort working in an international technology company with colleagues from all over the world
  • Great communication skills
  • Great organization skills

Bonus skills and experience for this role:

  • Understanding of Marketo or other marketing integration software
  • Event management experience
  • Experience in studying abroad would be an advantage
  • Experience in education would be a bonus
